Note: The download link for Fish Brag for Windows Phone 7 has been removed.
As of  23 May 2012, Microsoft is requiring Windows phone users to update their Version 7.0 phones to the "Mango" 7.5 version. If you have not updated your phone you will receive an error message letting you know you need to update your phone before downloading from the Marketplace. Although this may seem to be a nuisance it is a step by Microsoft to ensure better Marketplace performance  and enable them to make future improvements to the Marketplace.

This should have no effect on our original Fish Brag users. As you have updated your phone to the 7.5 version you should already be running the Fish Brag for Mango version.

Fish Brag

This is a great mobile app for all outdoor enthusiasts involved in activities like the following:
- Hunting
- Fishing
- Camping
- Canoeing
- Hiking
- Mountain Climbing
- Bird Watching
- Off-Roading
The above list is just some ideas for the different activities the app would be great for. The GPS and Mapping features of the app can be used to tag  any location that you want to get back to! Create your own GPS maps for each of your favorite fishing locations. Each of the features in the app could be applied to all of the activities listed above and more. The features listed below are described as they would apply to a fisherman and by reading through them you will see how handy they would be for whatever your outdoor activity might be!

Features:
Fishing Pals helps you keep track of all your fishing buddies. - saved data includes name, address, phone number, email, picture, if they have a boat or cottage.

Fishing Events helps you keep track of upcoming events. - saved data includes event name, location, date and time, event contact and phone number, event fees and who is going. - when you are entering a new event you can select attendees from your existing Fishing Pals or enter a new attendee. - after creating the event you can send invitations to attend the event with all the event data by selecting "email event" from the page menu. - call event contacts by tapping their phone number in the selected event item!

Catch Pictures lets you save all your favourite catches! - saved data includes date and time of the catch, weather conditions, lure or bait used, species, weight and length. - email the catch ( data only, its hard to send the actual fish this way) to all your fishing pals! The catch data is attached automatically to the email, you just need to attach the image from your saved pictures folder. You can delete the image from the saved pictures folder once the email is sent. The image will remain in the saved catch file until you choose to delete the file.

My Spots is great for saving all your favourite spots ( you can share them if you are nice!) - Saved data includes the location name you entered, onshore or offshore, any additional notes or information that you have entered (depth, type of coverage, boat access, etc... what ever you want to add), and the species of fish there. - When adding a new spot, the species present can be selected from a drop down selector or you can add a new species. The newly added species will be automatically entered in the drop down list for your future use. - To pin the spot on a map you need to allow access to the location service on the phone. If the service is not enabled you will be notified when you start to add a new spot. You can continue with the spot and the resulting map will be a default location, or enable the location service to permit accurate pinning of the spot on a map. The maps are a great way to get back to your favourite spots, and you can share them with your fishing pals!

The pinned spots can be viewed and saved in regular map view or "BirdsEye" view. You display the spot map by selecting a spot in the spots list. The map will automatically change view to that location with the spot pinned. If you tap the pinned spot on the map, a pop up will display any notes that you entered along with the fish species.

T     If you are navigating to a selected spot and turn on tracking the map will reposition to your current location. This is great for navigating on land to the lake or on the lake to the spot!

birdseye    The pinned spots can be viewed and saved in regular map view or "BirdsEye" view. You display the spot map by selecting a spot in the spots list. The map will automatically change view to that location with the spot pinned. If you tap the pinned spot on the map, a pop up will display any notes that you entered along with the fish species.
